A few months back we were named by the Baltimore Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work, it looks like they are not the only ones to think so. In February’s edition of Baltimore magazine, which is on news stands today, Accella was listed in their Article naming the best places to work around Baltimore.
While working in Baltimore is certainly not a requirement as our employees work from home, there are quite a number of us that work in the greater Baltimore area.
I was talking with Jason, our CEO, the other day at our Holiday Party about how this dynamic of having a group of individuals working remotely works surprisingly well. We are both huge proponents of working from home, which surprised me a bit as that was a big hesitation before joining Accella. Though the ability to focus on a task at hand without the constant distractions that are found in most office settings is stunning to say the least.
After working at home for the past year, I’m not sure that a transition back to a “corporate” atmosphere would be an easy one.

I want to add a registration form to Joomla.
I need to be able to edit the fields of the form
The form needs to register people as users in Joomla, and trigger an HTML welcome email, as well as a notification to an admin about the registration.
I’ve tried community builder, but you can’t disable things like username, which is irrelevant to me, and the welcome emails won’t do HTML.
Any suggestions?
Have you looked at Extensions for Joomla! ? There is a pretty good variety of extensions there that you can add on to help out with your form needs.
