Getting Arrested Can Help Your Business

While generally coming face to face with the law is generally not good for business, any PR person will tell you, as long as they’re talking about you, it can’t be all bad. That holds true for the creator of Viber, a mobile app that allows you to make free VoIP calls and text. Talmon Marco, the founder of Viber recently had an altercation with Delta on a flight from New Orleans to NYC, he was using his app in-flight using Delta’s own WiFi network. The flight attendants were none to please with him making VoIP calls from his laptop.

Even after having a talking to with the fine boys in blue at La Guardia, the publicity that Delta has given him for his app could not have been bought…way to go Delta, helping out the small business owners.
